All Hands on Deck

When we’re working onsite, it doesn’t matter if you’re a part of the production team or the CEO – everyone does what’s necessary to make the event flawless. I remember once at AAD, I was checking hotel room daily deliveries, and I got to one hotel about 4 a.m., and they hadn’t delivered the papers because they said they hadn’t received them. I had the delivery receipt in my hand, so I knew they were there, but they insisted they weren’t. Somehow, I managed to convince them to let me out onto their loading dock. Here I was, at 4 a.m., crawling over boxes of just-delivered strawberries and bananas, and what do you know – there’s our papers. I got the bell staff hustling, and every paper was delivered on time.
